REHAB Foundation was established in 1984 to support REHAB in its mission to provide rehabilitation services to individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities. We help to ensure that REHAB remains a viable community resource by obtaining funding from private sources to enrich and enhance the experience for our patients. We are committed to providing all patients with the proper and necessary care they need, regardless of their ability to pay.regardless of their ability to pay.
Our programs are designed with one goal in mind - to enhance a patient's stay while at REHAB.  This is accomplished in a variety of ways, through recreational programs that help to rejuvenate a person's spirit; continued education of our staff; purchase of new technology to offer our patients the most up-to-date, state-of-the art techniques and therapies; or, by helping a patient handle their financial obligations.  Listed below are the four main areas that we support.
Patient Enrichment & Enhancement Programs: The Foundation provides funds for programs designed to enrich a patient's experience while at REHAB.  Examples of these are an art therapy program providing expression and healing through artistic media; and an assistive technology project that shares state-of-the-art assistive devices to make computers accessible to individuals with disabilities.
Charity Care: REHAB is committed to caring for all patients regardless of their ability to pay.
Staff Education & Scholarships: Our funds for continuing education ensure our clinicians remain up-to-date with the latest patient care modalities, services and technology.
Special Hospital Requests & Needs: As needed, the Foundation provides funds for the construction, renovation & remodeling of REHAB as well as for the purchase of state-of-the-art equipment.
